White Shirt and Jeans Combo: Timeless

     When it comes to a timeless outfit, let's agree that wearing white shirt and jeans is never goes out of style. There is just something about it that feels so sexy yet classy. Perhaps because wearing white shirt and jeans looks like you put less effort in dressing up. You know when they say 'less is more'? Maybe it's something like that.

     As much as I love layering game and clashing patterns, I believe that white shirt and jeans combo is a life saver. Especially to those times when I don't feel like dressing up and just enjoy hanging out with friends without feeling like I have to take ootd shots too. If you're one of those people who meet me on a lot of occasions, you must notice this. 

     It's a different story when I want to take this white shirt and jeans combo up and post it on my website. Just like other bloggers (if you're a newbie), You need to put a little more effort when you take ootd shots. It happens to me all the time. I want to dress up and look stylish because I want to take ootd shots. But I don't want to look that neat when the main reason I get out of the house is to buy chicken from KFC. Like seriously, are you really going to wear makeup and heels to some fast food restaurants? So yes, like any other bloggers do, I bring my flip flop in a separate bag. 

Let's get back to the fashion talk, shall we? 

     I once read an article about white shirt and jeans and how to do it right. The key is, in the button down shirt. It has to be menswear inspired. Slightly oversized, but fitted. Loose, but not slouchy. Since I wear hijab now, I need to wear an inner shirt so I can use that button down shirt tips right. My choice is the stripes one. The jeans can be skinny or baggie. If you wear boyfriend jeans, don't forget to roll the bottom up. I found this two tone jeans from Stradivarius and it's just perfect to bring the white shirt and jeans combo up to the next level. Here's another tips: Avoid wearing skinny jeans with tight shirt and heels. One of your outfits (top or bottom) needs to be loose.
