Hi, Human!

     I've learned something beautiful today. Let me tell you something. Being jealous is perfectly normal. I'm not talking about the jealous feeling in boyfriend-girlfriend materials, but I'm talking about jealous of other people live. And as a human, you will never be free from that feeling. It's hateful, and I hate that. 

     But let's pause a second and look deeper. We're jealous because we don't have something that other people have. Have you ever realize that you also have something that other people don't have? For example, you're jealous of your friend because they always update their gadgets to the newest, or because they have a fancy car. Have you ever think that maybe they are also jealous of you? Maybe because you're the smartest or the prettiest, or if it's about the material thing, maybe they're jealous of you because you travel a lot. You go to the most beautiful place that they never had the chance to. Or you have a lot of pretty clothes and a rack full of shoes. Who knew?

     Come to think of it, you will realize that you don't really need to be jealous. You want to update your gadgets, but then you don't really like gadgets. Maybe gadgets or fancy car is not really your passion. Trust me, if it's your passion, you will make the best of it. You don't have those things means you're not really fond of them.

     Another example, you're jealous because your best friend got a new boyfriend/girlfriend and you haven't found your someone yet. It's okay to be jealous because it's perfectly normal. But again, when that feeling hits you, you need to remember that your best friend might also get jealous of you. Maybe about how many friend do you have out there. Like there's always someone greets you on the street, or at the mall, or you always get the invitation of the craziest party in town, who knew?

     So the thing to remember is when you jealous of what people have, don't forget that you also have something for other people to be jealous at. Hopefully, it can help to reduce that feeling. Life is balance that way. Enjoy it to the fullest and be happy!

I'm Busy! Just Like That.

     There are no updates about my life lately. Same old, same old. Still busy preparing my final assignment. Wish me luck because I need to graduate in June and move to Malaysia in August. Still be able to take ootd pictures between all those schedules. I'm wearing a lot of mono outfits lately, don't you think?

Lemon Butter Dory Pasta, So YUMM!

Hi, human!

I'm back with food review today. Few days ago, I found a new cafe in my hometown. The Oldman Coffee. It serves pasta too and you know how much I love pasta. I think it's a good thing that my little hometown has grown up now. Just like they say, the more the merrier. I love how people here start to think to build their own business like opening a cafe or coffee shop which is what teenagers need nowadays. A place to hang out, to enjoy the wind while sipping a cup of hot cappuccino.

So, I and my friend tried to give it a visit yesterday. They said it's open at 1 PM, but it's actually ready to serve at around 2. We waited in the car like an hour before we can enter the cafe. And I can't bad mouthing them again because the service is actually nice. They said their apology and they gave us lemon waters while we were waiting for them to get ready with the day.

You know, compassion and kindness turn me on. And I admit that we were being a little annoying with asking about their menu one by one. Yes, we literally asking almost all the dish they serve. Like "What picture can your barista draw for my hot drinks?" or "are these mocktails contain alcohol?" or "what is your sandwich consist of?" or "what is the difference of your white burger and black burger?" and the questions were going on and on and on. And the waiter answered every damn question patiently :)

Let's jump to the food and beverages, shall we? We finally ordered a cup of hot cappuccino, a green tea latte, lemon butter dory pasta, and black burger. And I'm gonna say, I love them! The cappuccino smells great and the taste is even better. It's so creamy and spoon-licking worthy. The barista drew me a cat and I didn't think it's a cat, but it was still cute.

The green tea latte is also not bad, It isn't too sweet nor bitter just the way I like it. But I think I love the cappuccino more. The lemon butter dory pasta is ... well I must say, it's a plate-licking worthy. It's suuuupeeer delicious! they didn't put mint leaves above my pasta like what it's shown in the picture on instagram, but it doesn't matter. The dory fish is so soft and not fishy. The black burger was my friend's and I didn't try it. So I can't give you a review. But she said it's delicious too.

Get to Know Me

     I've stumbled upon Trishna Patel's blog lately and find an amazing post about answering some questions to get to know me. It's fun to read and I'd like to give it a go for myself. Hey, dear Trishna, if you happened to read this post, I just want to say I enjoy reading your blog so much and I copied all your Get to Know Me Tag's questions :D

1. Do you have a middle name?

No. It's really lame, I know

 

2. What was your favourite subject in school?

I will look so much nerdy if I answer this question, but whatever! My favourite subject in school is math! *boooo how lame!* Hahaha I know, right! But I'm in college now, and even though we still have math subject (In so much more details about how you gonna use math in a real economic life), my favourite subject now is International Business.

 

3. What’s your favourite drink?

I like coffee. Like a lot! It's like a holy water for me. But lately, I love mung bean drink too.

 

4. What’s your favourite song at the moment?

Justin Bieber - Love Yourself

John Mayer - XO

those songs are full of my memories about I and 11 my friends :')

 

5. What would you name your children?

I used to write novels. Even though it's never been published. The main character named Ziana. So yes, If I had a daughter, I will name her Ziana. If it's a boy, then I will name him David, or Arsley

6. Do you participate in any sports?

Of course no! How cool I would be if I play any sports, huh! But I really love baseball.

7. What’s your favourite book? 

I read a lot of books, mostly it's the ebook version. So I don't have any particular book I like.

8. What’s your favourite colour?

I like yellow. And pink is cute too. But navy is good too. So the point is, I can't decide what my favourite colour is.

9. What’s your favourite animal?

Rabbit! That's obvious because I used to post my rabbits pictures on instagram before they died :( 

10. What’s your favourite perfume?

Currently, I'm using Zara Rose. It's sweet and I like it. I don't have any favourite perfume too because I always have one perfume at the moment and always change to a new one if it's already run out.

11. What’s your favourite holiday? 

Semester break. 

12. Have you graduated from High School?

Yes I have! Like I've said before, I'm in college now

13. Have you been out of the country?

Yes. It's only two, though. KSA and Singapore. I visit Singapore often because is my country's neighbor. 

14. Do you speak any other languages?

Indonesian of course!

15. Do you have any siblings? 

No. I'm all myself.

16. What’s your favourite store? 

When it comes to bags or shoes, I love ZARA products. But if it's clothing items, my current favorite store is This Is April.

17. What’s your favourite restaurant?

Sushi Tei. It's the best sushi restaurant ever!

18. Do you like high school?  

No! The reason? Because I don't have many friends back then and I got bullied when I was in Junior high school. 

19. Who are some of your favourite You Tubers?

Luciana Zogbi. Please do subscribe to her account. Her voice is sooooo good! I love all the covers she made.

20. What’s your favourite movie? 

Hmm, this is hard. I don't have in particular, but I love horrors a damn lot.

21. What are some of your favourite TV shows?

Agent of Shield, Once Upon a Time, Falling Skies, and Revenge.

22. PC or Mac?

I don't own a Mac nor PC. My laptop is HP Pavilion X360. It's light weighted , 360º versatile and touchscreen

23. What phone do you have?

iphone

24. How tall are you? 

I'm super short. Like only 155 cm high. 

25. Any pets? 

Currently not, but I used to have rabbits.
